When: 28 February – 29 April 2018
Where: NOW Gallery, Peninsula Square, SE10 0ES
If you’re one of those people who get majorly affected by SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) then this one’s for you. Farewell “winter depression” because Fred Butler, the latest artist to take over the NOW Gallery, is exploring further into the energy of chromotherapy.
Step away from the hustle and bustle of the City and experience the ‘healing spheres’. Filled with colourful lights and surroundings, the exhibition is focused on restoring a sense of well being and improved mood – enter into a sense of calmness and heal yourself through all the senses with light, colour, shape and sound.
Harmomnics in Space is is particularly relevant to the 21st Century – a world which involves continual computer work, whether through work or social purposes, has ironically led human nature to become more introverted and isolated than ever before. Fred Butler explains the importance of “letting go of instant gratification from constant scrolling and over stimulation” which is only shortening our attention spam and in turn preventing us from living in the most important phase, the ‘Now’. So here you have it, an exhibition which physically and mentally gives you the opportunity to step away from the grey and into a full spectrum of colour and total bliss! x
